  • The Art Department would like to thank all of the talented artists who had work in our recent show and remind them to come and see their art teacher this week to pick up their artwork. 


Upcoming events/deadlines: 

  • May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we will be celebrating all month long and bringing awareness to this topic that impacts everyone. We all have mental health, it’s also called Brain Health and is part of our overall health as human beings. Each Wednesday in May, we are wearing green for Mental Health, so make sure to be SEEN IN GREEN starting tomorrow, and join us for BINGO in the commons during Pride Thursday to kick off Mental Health Awareness Month and win great prizes. Sign up with Mrs Hilton-Cullum.

  • The BHS Library will be hosting a virtual author visit and Q&A with Markus Zusak TOMORROW, May 6th. See Ms. Motila if you have any questions!

  • All writers should consider applying for the Young Emerging Writers (YEW) Summer Internship. Print and complete the attached PDF application and submit it to Ms. Mitola in the Library. Writing samples should be submitted using this form. The deadline is May 15th.  

  • Don't miss out on your last chance to save lives this school year! Our final Blood Drive of the 25-26 school year is May 12th! All students age 16 and older are invited to donate! We need 70 more donors to fill our blood drive. Remember - each time you donate you could be helping up to 3 patients that need blood supplies!  If you are 16 years old you need a permission slip every time you donate - stop by the Career Center to grab one today! Upcoming meetings:

  • Hi FCCLA Members, get ready for some food, fun, and future planning! Our next FCCLA meeting is right around the corner, and you won’t want to miss it. We’ll be hosting a breakfast meeting to get our day started right while we discuss some very important goals for our chapter. The main focus of this meeting will be next year’s officer elections. If you’ve ever thought about taking on a leadership role, making a bigger impact in our school, or helping lead our chapter to success, this is the meeting for you! We’ll be talking about the different positions available and how you can apply. Come hungry and ready to lead! We can't wait to see you all there.

  • HOSA Our next (and last) meeting of the year is Wednesday, May 6th at 7:35 am in B202.  We are choosing officers for next year, planning and celebrating a great year!

  • Cultural Diversity Club Our next (and last) meeting of the year is Wednesday, May 13th at 7:35 am in B202. We are planning next year's events and choosing leadership :) and Celebrating our successes!
