  • Seniors: The yearbook is almost here! For those who pre-ordered, distribution will now take place on Tuesday, May 19, before and after school in the Commons, and on Wednesday, May 20, outside the main entrance directly after the elementary grad walks. 

Underclassmen: Yearbook distribution will take place on Thursday, May 21, and Friday, May 22, before and after school in the commons. 

Didn't pre-order a yearbook? No worries. Extra copies will be available, but copies are limited. Once we're out, we're out! Questions? Contact Mr. Staber. 


  • AP Testing Started This Week - Please check the list below for your testing information

  • PRIDE in the Testing Center is BY TEACHER REQUEST ONLY! If you need to take a test during PRIDE, please talk to your teacher to request it. Any students making the request themselves will be moved to their default. Thank you. 

  • Kailin Stiles-Pena is up for athlete of the week. Take a second to vote for her. Click the link and scroll down just a little bit.


  • Congratulations to the varsity boys soccer team for their 4-3 victory over Muscatine last night. In doing so, the team clinched the MAC Conference championship for the 4th consecutive season!  Great job, Bulldogs!!! 


Upcoming events/deadlines: 

  • Freshman and Sophomore students, come learn about our next UK trip in the summer of 2028! We will meet briefly after school on Tuesday, May 19, in Ms. Woolley’s room, D107. Bring a friend and come learn about where we’re going and what we’ll see on this awesome adventure!  

  • Juniors, CCIR Course selection for your senior year is now open. Please fill out this LINK to let us know you are interested in taking a course, and we will get you scheduled with your counselor. Fall courses must be registered for by Friday, May 22nd. If you have any questions, please let Mrs. Cauwels in Student Services know.

  • Do you like to dance or sing, or both at the same time? Show choir auditions for the 2026-2027 school year will be taking place on May 26th and 27th. Come and learn the choreography at our learning days in FA2 from 3:30-6:00 on May 19th and May 21st. For more information, email Mrs. Francois: kfrancois@bettendorf.k12.ia.us.   • May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we will be celebrating all month long and bringing awareness to this topic that impacts everyone. We all have mental health, it’s also called Brain Health and is part of our overall health as human beings. Each Wednesday in May, we are wearing green for Mental Health, so make sure to be SEEN IN GREEN.

  • All writers should consider applying for the Young Emerging Writers (YEW) Summer Internship. Print and complete the attached PDF application and submit it to Ms. Mitola in the Library. Writing samples should be submitted using this form. The deadline is TODAY,  May 15th

  • STAMP testing will be held on Thursdays and Fridays during Pride until the end of the school year.  Please let Frau Law know if you need to make alternative arrangements. 

  • Join the Cultural Diversity Club celebrating Asian American & Pacific Islander Month on Monday, May 18th for PRIDE.  Join us in B202 - sign up for Dr. Roeder's PRIDE (A. Roeder). We will be decorating and creating lanterns!
