We had a blast in music class last week celebrating Black History Month with Nat King Cole and Natalie Cole. We listened to L-O-V-E and This Will Be (Everlasting Love). We played a Valentine’s Day game and glided into the Winter Olympics by watching USA’s own “Quad God” and skating around the music room! Students got to try out our new instruments with the money that was raised during the Mario Madness Competition. Thank you to all who raised funds to help make our specials classes feel extra special and fun!

When you ask your 1st grade teacher if you and some orchestra friends can come put on a concert for you, of course she says yes! And they were amazing!

2026–27 kindergarten families joined us for Kindergarten Sneak Peek last night! 💙🐾 The incoming bulldogs explored classrooms, met our amazing teachers and staff, and discovered some of the excitement ahead in kindergarten! #BettPride

BCSD staff partnered with Bettendorf Police & Fire for collaborative crisis-response tabletop training — strengthening coordination and preparedness to keep our students, staff, and community safe. Grateful for these strong partnerships and shared commitment to Bettendorf schools. 💙 #BettPride
